I'm Back!!!!!

Wow! It's been 6 years since I last posted on my blog........hell I forgot I had one! I've been through alot the past 6 years but the 2 things have stayed constant and that's my comedy and my beautiful wife Courtenay! Both have been good to me! We have even started our on production/promotion/entertainment company, Dirty Angel Entertainment! We have had some success and some failures but it's been an awesome journey with my wife! So I think I'm gonna document our shows by interviewing one of the featured comedians in our production and posting the interviews here! This way you can keep up with everything we're doing.......if ya want!😉 Stay tuned folks..........

I'm gonna be on TV son............LOL....no seriously I'm gonna be on TV!

From Jan. 5th to Jan. 8th I was up in Walla Walla, WA filming for the reality show "Showville" or "Road Show" for AMC! This was one of the biggest experiences of my comedy carrier. I was selected as one of the 4 finalist who will appear on the show. It was crazy! Camera crews in my house, at the Red Room for The Real Comedy Spot, my partna Angela Olson got some camera time, my whole family gonna be on there! Everything happen so fast! Its crazy cause in a few months millions of people are gonna get to see me on stage doing what I love to do...........COMEDY! My wife, Courtenay, has been so supportive through all of this, cause its been crazy! The whole process was stressfull and exciting at the same time. I can't wait for the show to air!

The Real Comedy Spot

For the last 2 years I have had the pleasure of running a succeseful comedy open mic with partna in crime and good friend Angela Olson. We met on a humbug and become the greatest of friends and two known and respected comedians on the Portland comedy scene. I think we owe the success of our open mic to our friendship......and also being two up and coming comedians ourselves plays a big part! I feel we run one of the best open mics for comedians in the city of Portland. We offer comedians a a new style of open mic; more stage time and an audience! We make our open mic like we would want it for ourselves. I owe a lot of my growth as a comic to The Real Comedy Spot and my partna Angela. We're gonna be real big real soon! Just stay tuned.....

Big show coming up....

Super excited! Me and my partna in crime Angela Olson (Producer of The Real Comedy Spot/ comedian/ close friend) have a show July 13th at The Mills Inn in downtown Portland! We're doing 45 minutes each! 45 minutes son! I think this show will earn us our do respect in the PDX comedy scene. We have both worked hard on are craft and look at this show as a defining point in our stand up careers. We're gonna kill it, no doubts about it. After this our next move is gonna be doing shows out of state! Big plans and even bigger dreams! Stay tuned.........

New Respect……

I have a new respect for the Portland comedy scene. After getting a chance to talk, drink, smoke and relax with some of Portlands comedian I was proud to hear the camaderie among the masses. They all wanted to see each other have a great set and kill the crowd. No jealous banter, no "I've heard this set a millon times!" scowls……just pure joy and respect from each comedian I talk to. Thats the part of comedy I love…………but I know theres a dark, back biting , every man for him/her self, fuck you look at me, who are you anyway, hey I've been on TV & you haven't, I don't do open mics, fuck you pay me side to it also……I'm not nieve but I do have hope! So till they day we can laugh with each other in peaceful harmony I'm going to be thankful for the cool Portland comedians I know! So shout out to Nathan Brannon, Angela Olson, Shawn "Boomer" Alan, Shades Mathison, Amanda Arnold, Xander Deveaux, Joe Glad, Matt Styner, Trevor Thorp, Isaac Jr., Kyle Herbert, Devin Monaghan, Carmen Trineese, Nariko Ott, Whitney Streed, Dan Weber, Jesse Priest (Eugene, OR), Lee Hinton and Rico Starr! All great comedians and genuinely great human beings. So keep your eyes open one of them maybe headlining in your city real soon!…………oh I forgot to mention I also was at Bridgetown Comedy Festival here in The Rose City! Oh well next time!
